Cesar is a very handsome 1 year old boy that has come to is via the pound as he was found straying and no-one claimed him. He is lively youngster who is looking for a home where his new owner will share his favourite game of football and allow him to run off some of his puppy energy.
It seems Cesar hasn’t really seen much of life and needs encouragement with some things such as getting into the car, but once he is in their he enjoys his journey.
He is neutered, fully vaccinated and microchipped and does not have a problem with going to the vets, in fact, he seems to enjoy the attention this brings. He will need some basic training once in his new home and into a walking routine as he can pull on the lead, he isn’t keen on wearing a head collar but would benefit from a stop pull harness.
Cesar is happy to be petted all over but can be a little jumpy if he is unsure of what you are doing, this will come as his confidence grows and he does learn to trust quickly. Cesar has walked out with the other Akitas at kennels with no issues so far, so could live with a female companion after successful introductions. As he came to us with no history, homes with small children cannot be considered, he is also not cat tested.
