This little sweetheart is Labuta (meaning Little Paw). He is a five year old small Cross-Breed, possibly a bit of Poodle/ Shih Tzu/ Terrier or similar in the mix. Labuta is fostered in Grimsby (FR065). Labuta has spent the last few years being loved and cared for in a home in Romania but his owner is emigrating and cannot take Labuta with her so we were asked to step in and find him a loving home.
Labuta arrived off transport very scared, tired and shaking like a leaf. Fast forward 8 hours until the morning and a bundle of energy emerged, exploring his new digs with enthusiasm. He is a very confident little chap who very much enjoys the company of other dogs and has fitted into his multi-dog foster home with no problems. He has never lived without another dog for company and we feel he would like a companion nearer his own age to play with.
Although Labuta looks very much a cute lapdog he is a very active chap and loves to be out walking. We are looking for a stimulating and active environment for him he is nobodies handbag dog ! Although he has excellent recall to his name in the house, once outside his instincts take over and he finds everything stimulating and exciting, every leaf has to be thoroughly investigated! He has never ever been off-lead and we feel recall would be a work in progress.
Labuta has not lived with children and as he’s unassessed with them we would only rehome him with those over twelve. He is house trained and enjoys a fuss when he’s not too busy to receive it.
