Skye is a 2 year old female Saluki cross Greyhound who measures 26 inches to shoulder. She is very affectionate and loves nothing more then cuddling up to you on the sofa. She’s very clean in the house, quite obedient and is always very happy to see you. Although she currently lives with two young children and is good with them, Skye is looking for a quieter, calmer home either with no children or older children 14 plus.
She can be homed as an only dog or with a very confident dog that won’t pay attention to her insecurities. Skye is crated when left and can be left for four hours at a time but is used to being left with another dog. She is crated at night but would also be delighted to share the bed with you given the chance!
Skye walks well on the lead and has reasonably good recall when walked in a secure field. She is dog reactive so will bark and lunge when she sees other dogs this could be fixed with a little time once she is away from her current triggers in her home.
She has lots of canine friends she absolutely adores but does need very slow, careful introductions. Skye is a lovely, wonderful dog to live with but just needs a calmer environment long term. No small furries or cats. Needs someone who can continue her training
