Luanne is a medium sized Cross-Breed of around seven to eight years old. Luanne was rescued from the Mizil shelter in Romania two years ago when all the dogs were due to be killed. Luanne is a very gentle girl who has come a very long way. When she first arrived in her foster home, she was very frightened, would not let anyone touch her and would cower in the corner whenever people were around. Now, she sleeps comfortably in the family room surrounded by people and is happy to be stroked and fed chicken by hand! Luanne is fostered in Feltham, Middlesex.
Luanne still has a way to go and is quite jumpy and nervous at times but the steps she’s already taken shows that with the right family and some patience, she will certainly get there. Her personality is starting to show as she becomes playful with her foster brother and loves going on walks. She would likely benefit from having another dog in the home to show her how to flourish. She’s even showing a cheeky side and is coming out of herself more and more each day. Luanne is happily living with a cat in her foster home.
She would make a wonderful addition to a patient family that have time to dedicate to building her confidence and helping her to realise that not all humans are bad. Our adoption fee is £250. They are vaccinated, microchipped and neutered (unless they are too young).
