Lea is a 3 and a half year old female Cross-Breed. She is a medium sized spayed dog (shoulder height: 46 cm, weight: 15 kg). She was left at the shelter’s incubator with her 11 puppies in Sept 2019. Her puppies have been long adopted but poor Lea has been living in a crowded shelter ever since. She was quite timid in the shelter initially but she has opened up nicely with time and has become a really friendly girl who deserves to be part of a loving family!
Lea is a real sweetheart who is kind with everyone who really deserves to be part of a loving family! She loves cuddles and likes being around humans. She has a lovely soft temperament and she’s good around children too. Sadly she doesn’t get much attention at the shelter and she seems to be giving it up as time passes. She is friendly with dogs too and lives peacefully among them.
She currently lives with a pack of dogs in an open yard and she’s compatible with all of them. She walks nicely on the lead and enjoys walks thoroughly. As she currently lives outdoors in a shelter environment, we are unsure about her house training needs and her new family will need to be prepared to housetrain her if needed.
Lea would be best suited for a family without or with children over 8 where she is not left alone for long periods of time and there is time for her training. We want her to be treated as a treasured member of the family and be included in family programmes and taken on nice walks and holidays.
She could be a perfect family pet and she deserves the best. She could live with a friendly doggie mate, but she could also be happy living with her humans to care for her only. As all rescue dogs, she will need time, patience, love and commitment from her adopting family.
Lea is currently in Hungary and can travel to the UK as soon as the right family’s found for her. She comes fully vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, dewormed, flea and tick treated, with an EU passport and DEFRA approved paperwork.
