Moose – 3 year old male American Bulldog

Moose is a stunning three year old male American Bulldog looking for a home with large breed experience. He’s come from a less than ideal start in life – living in a flat and with no socialisation. He’s doing great in his foster home and loves his walks, playtime and snuggles. He’s been around children in his previous home but given his size etc we are looking for a home with children 10+.

He’s very strong on his lead and will pull when he sees other dogs. He’s happily walked with a calm female so could possibly live with a female dog pending introductions. He’s a no to cats. He travels well in the car and is fine to be left for reasonable periods of time. He is anxious when walking in built up areas so he needs a home where he can enjoy country walks with plenty of space.

He’s been neutered while in our care and is vaccinated and chipped. Forever homes can be anywhere within the UK but you will need to travel to us in South Yorkshire. As always we require everyone in the family and any children who are regularly going to be in contact with the dog to attend the meet.

Our usual process is that you will need to come and meet the dog (outside and following social distancing rules) and that adoption is then done on a second meet. For some dogs additional meets may be required and potential adopters will be required to travel to the dogs location for all meets.

If you meet the criteria for one of our current dogs for adoption please call us from 8am-8pm to discuss (if your call is not answered please leave a voicemail and we will return your call). If you are suited we will then arrange a homecheck, vet reference and meet with the dog.

We only rehome where all resident and previous animals are/were regularly vaccinated and neutered/speyed unless on veterinary advice.
