Ruby – 4 year old female Cross-Breed

Ruby is a 4 year old female Cross-Breed, she is small-medium sized. Ruby is in a private pension in Macedonia until she has a home to go to. Ruby is a very beautiful girl, inside and out. She has golden coloured fur and a big swishy tail. Ruby currently weighs 11.3kg. We have named her Ruby as she is a little gem. “Ruby is a symbol of good fortune, pure love, and loyalty”. Ruby has a wonderful nature, she is calm and gentle and gets on well with the other dogs in the pound and loves the people she meets.

This is Ruby’s sad story as told by our rescuer: “She is not one of my dogs in pension, actually she is nobody’s dog for months now. She was left by her owners in pension and they said they would collect her in one month – that was in October, 8 months ago. They never paid second, third month for her. They never asked how she is. They left the country and cut every contact with the owner of the pension. She doesn’t have anyone to come to visit her, take her for a walk, bring her treats and give her cuddles – there is no-one for her.

She is lucky that the owner of the pension is kind and let her live there with other dogs. I wanted to check his story that when he takes her for a walk on the way back she lays down and pretends to be dead so she doesn’t have to go back in kennels. Well it’s true! Look at the video, all was good till I turned to walk toward kennels. It look like she really pretend to be dead to stay longer outside!”

Ruby will probably need to be house trained although possibly she was house trained before unless she lived outside. According to her passport the owners left she is 4 years old. She cannot be child tested so we wouldn’t home her with children under 13. She has seen a cat at the vets and didn’t react at all which means she would probably be ok with a resident cat. Ruby is fully vaccinated and chipped. Homecheck and adoption fees apply. If you think you are the right home for this gorgeous girl, please contact us.
